Write and test spintax, count total combinations, and generate spun ad-copy variations instantly.
Formula: Total combinations = the product of every spin block, where a nested block multiplies out inside its parent. So {a|b} × {c|d|e} = 2 × 3 = 6 unique variations.
FAQ
Spintax is a shorthand for writing many versions of a line at once. Alternatives go inside braces separated by pipes — {save|get} 20% off — and each combination produces a different output. It is widely used to generate ad-copy variations for testing.
Yes. A spin block can contain another block, for example {get {20%|£20} off|free delivery}. Nested blocks multiply out inside their parent, and the combination count above accounts for the nesting.
Multiply the number of options in every block: {a|b} × {c|d|e} gives 2 × 3 = 6. The counter does this for you as you type, including nested blocks, so you can see the real variation count before you generate.
The list shows the first 50 combinations in order, because a few blocks can easily produce thousands. The combination count is always the true total — use “Copy all” to take the shown variations, or trim a block to bring the total down.
It is useful for generating a test set quickly, but the output still needs a human pass. Spun copy that reads awkwardly performs badly and can fall foul of ad-platform quality checks — treat the variations as a starting point, not final creative.
